My PhD was defended on October 4, 2018 in the context of my major solo exhibition at the Museum of
Contemporary Art of Antwerp(MuHKA).
The PhD was undertaken in the context of a consortium I created which included the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, the University of Antwerp, Sint Lucas Antwerp School of Art and Design, and the Zurich University, where it was initiated.
Entitled “The Wind Egg,” it realized the ancient mythos of wind fertilization of animals and people using cutting-edge wind tunnels. The penultimate exhibition at MuHKA shared its title and forms with two preceding exhibitions at the von Karman Institute and at Harlan Levey Projects, my gallery in Brussels.
